After ten amazing years, the Borderline Brawl saw its final checkered flag on April 25, 2026 and what a night it was. A total of 56 Factory Stocks made the trip to All-Tech Raceway for the $7,500 to win race. Georgia’s Justin Hart won an exciting Integra Shocks Pole Shuffle to lead the 30-car field to green for a 75-lap feature event. However, Jason Garver would lead the opening 16 laps before surrendering the top spot back to Hart. By lap 20, the race had already seen five caution flags, but the pace abruptly changed as the final 55 laps went caution free. Three-time Borderline Brawl champion, Ronnie Newsome, made his way up from 5th to take over the top spot on lap 24 after an incredible three-way battle with Garver and Hart.
The story of the night, however, was Nevin Gainey, who wasn’t even planning on racing until three days prior to the event. Gainey started back in the 15th spot, but had quietly worked his way through the field during the early stages of the race. By lap 33, Gainey had passed Newsome for the race led, and led the final 43 laps to win the 10th Annual Borderline Brawl. “This is absolutely the biggest race I’ve ever won in my life,” Gainey said in victory lane. Ronnie Newsome would come home 2nd, with Jason Garver finishing 3rd. Tanner Thomas climbed from 16th starting spot to finish 4th, and Rich Pratt rounded out the top five.

Looking Back & Moving Forward
The Borderline Brawl has been an incredible ride over the years. With the addition of the Southern States Track Alliance rules package, we’ve got incredibly high hopes for the future.
What’s Ahead?
We’ve got East Alabama Motor Speedway coming up in September, and we’re currently in discussions with other tracks as well for future events. The Brawl is done but our involvement in Factory Stock racing is not!
